Enigmatic and secretive, the Antecedent are among the oldest sentient life in the galaxy. Born during the very early days of the cosmos, these beings of pure energy are unlike any other life forms.
From what is known, the first of their kind was Nammu, born, by sheer chance, from one of the countless quantum fluctuations of energy particles in the great void. In an event that would never again be repeated, particles assembled within a space in such a way as to form a ‘brain’ and thus, the first sentient being.
From Nammu, came Anshar and Kishar, one tasked with the observation of other emerging life and the latter of its guardianship.
