Found abundant across Infinity Horizon, the Luminade is particularly unique in that it has adapted to feeding off nanites which are abundant in the space habitat. This adaptation has strong parallels to real-world examples of animals adding manmade materials to their diet – think of cloth moths or plastic-eating waxworms. The Luminade is coveted by the many primitive cultures that inhabit Infinity Horizon, as they see the species both as a good luck charm and as having potent ‘magical’ properties.
